Imagine more than 50 awesome dinosaurs constructed from over two million LEGO® bricks and in residence round Marwell Zoo this spring and summer. It’s a world-exclusive for Marwell and one of the most ambitious projects yet for legendary LEGO brick building company, Bright Bricks. And it’s also brilliantly interactive so little palaeontologists can hunt down their dinosaur favourites on the free BRICKOSAURS Trail; come face-to-face with an eight metre T-Rex – the largest, moveable, brick dinosaur ever created – find fun family activities at the Base Camp; get creative in the BRICKOSHOP brick pits, and meet ‘n’ greet legends of the Dino world from surprisingly small Compsognathus and Velociraptors to armour-plated Triceratops.
And if mighty T-Rex doesn’t satisfy all cravings for big, bigger and biggest, check out the all new, just opened Tropical House: Energy for Life exhibit. It’s Marwell Zoo’s largest ever exhibit, built over two levels and designed for near total immersion in an authentic rainforest environment. Kids can peek through the tree canopy; spy rare and colourful creatures; experience the sights and sounds of this fragile eco-system, and learn about vital conservation, now and in the future.
Of course, with hundreds of animals including giraffes, tigers and penguins, along with five adventure playgrounds, daily talks and one of the cutest visitor trains you’ll ever have ridden, Marwell Zoo’s incredible any time.
