Exciting news – Family Traveller is Camp Bestival 2017’s official media partner!
At Family Traveller, we’ve been working side-by-side with our friends at Camp Bestival for three years.
We know that you, our readers, love to explore, have fun together and of course, rock it at family festivals, so we’re confident you’ll love Camp Bestival as much as we do.
2017 marks the festival’s tenth anniversary. This year’s event has an inspired Pop Stars & Rock Starts theme and looks set to be an unforgettable combo of amazing music, awesome family fun and camping by the sea.
Families heading to Camp Bestival, 27-30 July 2017, will find a copy of Family Traveller magazine in their programme bag.
You’ll also have the chance to meet the Family Traveller team and get creative with your kids when you visit our Rock Stars and Pop Stars Workshop, which we’re hosting with our friends at Luxury Family Hotels.
You’ll find us in the Lower Kids Garden, among the fun of the Giant Sandpit, the Helter Skelter and the World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle. Our friendly staff will be on hand with feathers and glitter galore.
Kids can make their own T-shirts, head bands, ‘rock stars’ and music shakers, while parents relax in the chill out area!
The kids will even become a Family Traveller ‘cover star’ and be in with a chance to win a family holiday, courtesy of Luxury Family Hotels. We can’t wait to see you at our stand!
Camp Bestival takes place in the gorgeous grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset and this year’s lineup boasts performances from the likes of Brian Wilson, Mark Ronson, Madness, Leftfield and All Saints.
There will be plenty of family fun from Mr Tumble, Dick & Dom, School of Rock the Musical and loads more. Families who love to stretch their imaginations and get creative will love all the glittery goings on in Art Town and the woodworking in Spinney Hollow.
There’ll be awesome circus acrobats, wildly entertaining theatre shows and jaw-dropping spectacles, such as the automated Love Bot. Look out for the World’s Largest Disco Ball and the World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle, plus the Bestival Inflatable Church & Wedding Disco and much, much more.

Price: £197.50 for an adult weekend ticket. Weekend passes for children are £125 for age 13-17, £98.75 for age 10-12, £45 for age 5-9, and £15 for age 4 and younger. Children age 1 or younger are admitted for free but require a preordered “Babes In Arms” ticket.
Day tickets: £65 for adults, £42 for children age 13-17, £32.50 for age 10-12, £15 for age 5-9, and £6.50 for age 4 and under.
