Family-friendly microbrewery opens in Hoxton, East London

Brewhouse and Kitchen has recently opened it’s 22nd pub in the trendy suburb of Hoxton. The microbrewery is nestled into Hoxton Station’s railway arches, home to a number of fun pubs and restaurants, giving the space a community feel whilst retaining the intimate and cool vibe you want from an East London hidden gem.

Brewhouse and Kitchen gives parents and caregivers the chance to have a yummy lunch with the kids in a central London location whilst sampling local, national and world beers and ciders. The family (and dog) friendly setting makes a comfortable hangout for the whole family. The juniors’ menu offers a cool selection of delights including some vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options and activities while you wait. Adults can choose from 70+ beers and ciders or wines and non-alcoholic beverages. There are menus to satisfy your hunger around your schedule, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, sunday and, of course, sweet treats for dessert.

Brewhouse and Kitchen offers a different experience compared to traditional breweries and microbreweries. The ‘Academy’ offers brewery experiences, beer and food matching, or a beer masterclass for adults in your group wanting a more immersive microbrewery experience. Perfectly located next to Hoxton Station – a stone’s throw from Shoreditch High Street and a gentle wander from Regent’s canal – your family can train, walk or canoe down for a relaxing lunch or dinner. The Geffrye Almshouse and front gardens are only a short walk, and The Hive Amazing Outdoor Missions perfect for kids and teens is only a 3 minute walk away. For the more adventurous of kids, why not try out the Youth Circus Experience Day in Hoxton, whilst the more laid back can enjoy a family show at Hoxton Hall.

Gail Bunn, from Brewhouse and Kitchen, said that each pub across the UK aims to deliver the same warm and welcoming vibe to families and beer lovers across the UK, showcasing local beers in each region and locally sourced supplies where possible. They are constantly developing their menus to provide a wide selection of food choices for all tastes, and employ master brewers who are continually evolving the beers brewed on site. They are also working closely with their supply chain to continue working towards sustainability.
