Thomas Cook launches new lifestyle hotel for families in Kos

Last updated 16th March 2024

It might be fair to say that you wouldn’t associate Thomas Cook with high-end rustic chic design. But that’s exactly what the new Casa Cook in Kos offers families looking for more authentic style accommodation when it opens its doors on July 1.

The Casa Cook brand is very different to Thomas Cook’s other hotels. The 100-room lifestyle hotel is located on Kos’s northern shore in the seaside town of Marmari.

The hotel design takes its inspiration from local Greek architecture and the one and two storey ‘homes’ are designed to give families a village-like feel. Every type of room has been designed to be warm, inviting and full of character, with an element of luxury included.

Casa Cook is Thomas Cook’s first own-brand hotel to have a beach club. Open to guests and locals, the beach club and is a great place to chill out with the kids, eating, drinking and enjoying the ocean.

Villas and suites have been created for families who want a bonding holiday. There is no dedicated kids activity programme, however families can enjoy paddle boarding, horse riding on the beach and yoga classes on the terrace.

The hotel has a state of the art gym, indoor pool and spa with an emphasis on local herbs and beauty treatments.

The restaurant offers a ‘farm to table’ dining experience focusing on ingredients grown at a neighbouring farm, extending from big healthy breakfasts to Mediterranean-inspired plates and light dishes.
