Holidays to Türkiye just got even more exciting for families, as the country’s first Nickelodeon Land and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya are set to open at The Land of Legends early next year.
Nickelodeon on the Turkish Riviera: a recipe for family fun
Ready for action on 15 January 2025, and bringing SpongeBob SquarePants, DORA, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek™ and PAW Patrol® along for the ride, your kids’ favourite Nickelodeon characters have found a new home on the Turkish Riviera. Nickelodeon Land and Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Antalya are the latest attractions to arrive at The Land of Legends. Also known as the ‘Turkish Disneyland’, it’s an activity-packed theme park near the beach resort of Belek, with thrill-inducing rollercoasters, a splash-worthy aqua park and themed adventure lands, perfect for family days out with kids of all ages.
Three new areas at Nickelodeon Land equals triple the excitement for kids
Nickelodeon Land has three areas, all uniquely created for The Land of Legends: an underwater Bikini Bottom from the zany world of SpongeBob SquarePants; an intergalactic Star Trek: Wild Galaxy (based on Star Trek: Prodigy) and the open-air Adventure Bay, based around those cute puppy law enforcers at PAW Patrol. With exciting adventures such as riding on the giant Jellyfish Jam swing in Bikini Bottom, adventuring through space in the Star Trek: Wild Galaxy 5D cinema, or flying high in Skye’s Flyers helicopter-style ride, this is a destination with something for everyone in the family.

Stay in a themed room and have dinner with DORA
And when you’re all played out, why leave when you can stay onsite instead at the brand-new Nickelodeon hotel? There’s more immersive fun to be had via five themed room designs from SpongeBob through to Star Trek, Character Dining so your kids can meet their heroes over dinner, and brand-new facilities including an outdoor pool area complete with Aqua Tower, Spray Area, and even – in true Nickelodeon style – the opportunity to be Slimed (we’re not sure we want that, but your kids definitely will).
Also, if all the excitement makes you dream longingly of adult time, you can leave your kids in the capable hands of Club Nick to make new friends and get in the activities zone, and head to Anjana Spa. Here you can choose between indulging in holistic therapies and massages, steaming it out in the traditional Turkish Hammam, or sweating it out with a session at the hotel’s fully-equipped gym complete with yoga and Pilates studios.
The Land of Legends is about to get even more legendary
The Land of Legends theme park is set on 200 acres of space, around 30 minutes drive from Antalya city, close enough to the beachside resort of Belek and its sister properties Rixos Premium Belek and Rixos Park Belek for a day relaxing by the sea before you check out the thrilling rollercoasters. And about those thrills: Land of Legends highlights include Turtle Coaster, one of the world’s longest water slides, the 62-metre-high Hyper Coaster, and the legendary WaterMania: great for those who enjoy a soaking on the way down.
Then there’s the Chateau in The Land of Legends Shopping Avenue, which is where you can pick up cute souvenirs like plushies and t-shirts, and mingle with Nickelodeon favourites. It’s also the centre of the nightly evening entertainment, which includes musical boat parades, leisurely experiences at Marinart, a wide choice of restaurants, and over 170 international shops.
Why families love the Turkish Riviera
With powdery white sands ideal for tiny tootsies, miles of stunning sailing-friendly coastline fringed with islands, views of lush forests and azure seas, family-friendly hotels and attractions, rich Roman and Byzantine heritage with many pristine ruins, and the buzz of sailing vessels constantly passing through to stop at the pretty harbours and stroll old town streets in search of delicious food, the Turkish Riviera is a great destination from early spring through to late autumn. It’s also easy to get to, with direct flights departing to Antalya and Alanya from major UK airports throughout the holiday season.
