Family summer mountain holidays

Arrow Discover more

Summer is all about long, sunny days, and it’s best spent outside in fresh, clean air. But that doesn’t have to mean a beach holiday. In fact nature, wildlife and adventure are some of the best partners for fresh air, and that’s what you’ll find in summer mountains the world over.

There’s no better place to spend a summer holiday than in a majestic mountain landscape packed with endless discoveries to be made on foot, by bike, on rivers that roar through the peaks or beside lovely lakes, with beaches.

It’s also worth noting that winter resort prices don’t apply to summer mountain holidays. So spending some time in the French Alps, Dolomites, Pyrenees or even British Columbia’s big mountains, costs a lot less in July and August than it does from December to March.
