We’re big fans of Club Med’s all-inclusive ski holidays, bringing seamless skiing to families this winter across resorts in the French Alps. So naturally we’re also big fans of the resorts themselves, take a look.
Why choose Club Med all-inclusive ski resorts?
There are countless reasons why Club Med ski resorts work brilliantly for families, making them stress-free, not an easy task on an active holiday with kids, but one which Club Med have more than risen to the challenge of. With family ski passes included, on top of 25 hours of weekly lessons from ESF instructors, snowboarding for children from age eight, free Kids Clubs for 4-17-year-olds divided into four different age groups, and free stays for the under-4s, all-inclusive really means what it says on Club Med family ski holidays.
There’s also the winning formula of the Club Med snow guarantee which means that, if 50% of the slopes are closed for two consecutive days within five days of departure, you can pick another resort or move your dates, giving peace of mind when booking. And if you’re staying seven nights, you now benefit from the Sunday-Sunday arrival and departure times, because who wants to travel with everyone else, or have less of a weekend on the slopes?
Club Med Tignes: a family favourite sitting high in the Alps
Tignes occupies a lofty position some 2,100 meters above sea level, enjoying one of Europe’s longest ski seasons, thus giving you plenty of time this winter to sample its slopes. The family-friendly atmosphere makes it a perennial favourite, so it’s a perfect pick for adventuring with little ones.
Brand-new Club Med Tignes is in Val Claret’s lively ski resort centre, with bright decor that really zings against a snowy mountain backdrop, and impressive facilities including luxury spa, a large indoor pool, and schedule full of Club Med’s great family entertainment – from circus shows to magic shows, DJs to interactive workshops. Club Med Tignes is an Exclusive Collection resort, so if you fancy an upgrade, book a Family Suite with an extra-large living space and roomy terrace, and included amenities such as a personalised concierge, free snacks and champagne at the Lounge Bar, and minibar soft drinks.
