Discover Park19 aboard new Sun Princess for 2024

Park19 makes it debut aboard new Sun Princess in February 2024 and it’s already looking like the most fun families can have at sea.

Set on the top decks of Sun Princess, this amazing area features nine incredible activities, so there really is something for everyone in the family.

The Lookout and Splash Area, Sun Princess

Have a sneak peek at the fun on Sun Princess

  • Sea Breeze is inspired by hang gliding but in safe environment. It’s the first Rollglider on any cruise ship and takes kids, parents and grandparents soaring above the deck for panoramic views of land and sea. Guests are seated and harnessed for the ride which lasts 60-90 seconds, and is also ADA accessible.
  • Coastal Climb lets kids and adults ascend from decks 19 to 20 through a series of fun obstacles. Gorgeous views at the top reward your climb, and there’s a very cool slide back down to the bottom.
  • The Lookout observation deck sits at the top of the climbing structure and adventurers make their way there for stunning 360º views from the highest point onboard Sun Princess.
  • Infinite Horizon features leaning tilt walls cantilevered over the side of the ship to let guests who love heights peer out from deck 19 and look down to deck nine and beyond.
  • The Net is harnessed above deck 19, where guests are challenged to trek across unstable bridges, a z-shaped balance beam and climb cargo nets.
  • Hammock Area offers relaxing hammocks so Park19 adventurers can take a break from exploring and hang out with family and friends. Another first for Princess Cruises!
  • Splash Zone is the whimsical splash area where pop jets and a beautiful water sculpture create a refreshing and relaxed area to chill.
  • Recreational Court is a multi-function sports’ court where guests can try anything from ping pong and shuffleboard to Xponential Fitness classes and morning meditation.
  • Jogging Track gives guests a refreshing open-air space to walk, jog or run at their own pace: 6.7 times around the track is the equivalent of one mile.

Neon Grove, Sun Princess, Princess Cruises

Kids of all ages will particularly love new Sun Princess

New Sun Princess also features Youth & Teen Centres on decks six and seven where young guests from six months to 17 years can enjoy age-appropriate activities. And all that fun is included at no extra cost.

Fun Firefly Park, Sun Princess

Firefly Park brings the fun onboard for three to seven year olds

The youngest Princess guests get to enjoy imaginative Firefly Park on deck six. This wonderful space invites kids aged between six months and seven years old to play and socialise along with their families. As well as a place to play together, it’s also where younger guests can join in supervised art projects, theme parties and group games.

Firefly Park features a dedicated play area for babies and toddlers too. Plus, for a small extra charge, after hours group babysitting is also available from 10pm until 1 am for kids aged between three and 12 years.

The Underground, Sun Princess

Tweens and Teens have their own space – just the way they like it

Neon Grove for tweens and teen-centric The Underground are both on deck seven, but entirely separate. Each inviting space gives tweens and teens room to hang out, socialise, and have fun. What they have in common are colourful and comfy sofas and chairs for lounging; PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles, along with air hockey, foosball, and skeeball. Plus, a range of activities for these age groups includes ship scavenger hunts, movie nights, friendly competitions, and dance parties.

The Dome, Sun Princess

A little more about family-friendly Sun Princess

Due to set sail in a matter of weeks, new Sun Princess will offer guests a wide choice of exciting dining, entertainment, and activities, as well as luxurious staterooms and suites across a broad range of categories.

The ship has also been designed with the most balconies of any Princess ship, so guests can take in the sunshine and crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean or Caribbean from the comfort of their cabin.

Then there’s The Dome – a transformational entertainment venue inspired by the terraces of Santorini. And we have a feeling Horizons Dining Room will be another place that has everyone talking.
