Four Seasons Fairways: Wintergrill brings warmth to February half term

World-renowned TV chefs Tom and Henry Herbert have reclaimed the barbecue with their legendary WinterGrill. Cooking up seasonal, local dishes to bring the taste of summer to guests staying at the Four Seasons Fairways, the brothers aim to create an atmosphere of a summer family holiday with good food, laughter and memories.

Barbecues at the resort are the perfect way to bring the family together – you’ll experience long evenings soaking up the beauty of the surroundings while enjoying mouth-watering dishes, a bottle of wine in the ice-bucket and blankets under which to snuggle as the sun goes down.

Guests who fancy themselves a dab-hand with the barbecue tongs or who have always wanted to give gourmet cooking a try, can improve their skills with Tom and Henry during their Winter BBQ Masterclass from 20-23 February 2018. There will be live cookery demonstrations, Q&A sessions with the chefs and even private classes with families and individual groups (hurry, these sell out fast!).

While some of the family whip up tonight’s dinner, the rest of the brood can enjoy the exclusive surroundings and facilities of the Fairways resort. A picture-perfect beach and 11.6 hectare lake provide the perfect base for watersports, and the resort itself is nestled in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve that is home to abundant wildlife. Activities such as birdwatching and boating are the perfect way to experience the outdoor lifestyle that the Four Seasons Fairways is famous for.

Young VIPs will be well-entertained throughout the February half-term, with the Four Seasons Fun Club offering all-day care for children aged four-12 years old. Activities include go-karting, watersports, treasure hunts and cinema sessions that will keep little ones busy while parents enjoy some me-time.

For adults, the Four Seasons Fairways offers both indulgence and sporting activities to keep everyone happy. A wellness spa and beauty salon is on hand to help guests unwind and enjoy some pampering while the fitness centre and sports classes complement the golf courses in the heart of a 2000 acre estate.

Tom and Henry have even created an online skills library, ingredients list and recipe cards so that aspiring chefs can bring the taste of the Four Seasons Fairways home with them. Using the step-by-step recipe cards, you can recreate Tom and Henry’s culinary delights in your own kitchen.
