Want to bunk in en famille but without breaking the bank? Ambassador offers third and fourth berth cabins that are ideal for when the kids are in tow.

A selection of Ambassador cabins have either pullman or foldaway third or fourth berths; the former are moved down from the ceiling by a cabin steward at nighttime and are placed back into the ceiling during the day so you and the little ones can still have plenty of room to relax, play and get dressed for the adventures ahead.

Alternatively, foldaway beds are permanently attached to Ambassador cabin walls and are lowered when required.

If you’ve got older children or you’re travelling with grandpa, grandma et al on your family cruise, an interconnecting cabin could be the solution to grant the gang a bit more space.

However, for more luxury quarters, a suite might be best. The line’s flagship Ambience – on which the 2023 Ambassador family cruises take place – boasts 14 spacious De-Luxe suites.

These rooms have twin beds which can be converted to a double bed and the majority have a sofa bed that can fit a third and/or fourth passenger, perfect for tucking the kids up into (and giving mum and dad a bit more privacy).

Ambassador suites feature standard cabin facilities as well as en-suite facilities with a bath and separate shower, dressing area and a second flat-screen television (useful if the young’uns are bored stiff by your favourite news channels).

In addition, staying in a De Luxe Suite grants you a separate check-in waiting area, an espresso coffee machine and easy departure with a private disembarkation waiting area. How’s about that for the suite life?
