Looking for the best family theme parks in South East Asia? We’ve already looked at everything from all-day-passes to clear height restrictions (no disappointment for kids on the day), record breaking rides for teens, and plenty of gentle fun for toddlers too. Here are the best of the best according to our kids.

Siam Amazing Park, Bangkok, Thailand

Thailand’s longest running and most popular theme park and waterpark, Siam Amazing Park is also home to the world’s largest wave pool.

It covers more than 118 acres, and includes five different adventure zones: Extreme World, for older kids, teenagers and thrill seekers; Adventure World, for young explorers; Family World, fun for all ages; Small World, for the youngest adventurers; Bangkok World, which celebrates the architecture and history of the city.

Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East, Singapore

One of Singapore’s largest waterparks, and one of the 10 best in Asia, Wild Wild Wet covers all rides from adrenalin-pumping free fall to relaxing water slides.

In addition to the original nine slides and rides which made its name, the park now has seven more attractions including the Royal Flush: Asia’s first hybrid ride. Kraken Racers (see video) is  Singapore’s first four-lane mat racer slide. Although serious thrill seekers need to try the Torpedo or Free Fall. Don’t worry, little splashers aren’t left out, the Kidz Zone is a lot of gentler but still fun excitement, so this is one of the family theme parks we can recommend for everyone.

Opening hours: open Monday to Friday from 12pm-6pm and closed on Tuesdays; Saturday, Sunday, school and public holidays from 11am-6pm.
