Langham Hotels’ Ai Fiori restaurant is transforming its Michelin-starred restaurant into a sensory-friendly, judgment-free restaurant on Nov. 18 for Tykesgiving. The kid- and special needs-friendly event turns the restaurant into a welcoming and inclusive restaurant experience for all families.
Hosted by special needs decor company WOLF + Friends and Nibble+squeak, an online community of parents with kids who love to eat, Tykesgiving will feature accessibility and special touches, including a sensory break room and an activity zone. The menu of Thanksgiving favorites will also be paired with Ai Fiori Chef Michael White’s signature dishes, and will include gluten-free and allergen-free ingredients.
Adult Menu:
- Insalata: Market greens, pickled veg, manchego cheese, aged sherry
- Warm brussel sprouts, pancetta, mustard seed vinaigrette
- Roasted squash, brown butter, pumpkin seeds, sage
- Heritage turkey, cranberry jus
- Tortelli: Ricotta & Mascarpone ravioli, truffle cheese, red wine glaze
- Roasted Salmon, charred lemon, crispy potatoes
- Sage stuffing
- Pomme Puree
- Assorted biscotti (cookies)
- Pumpkin budinos
- Nocciole Mousse
Kids Menu:
- Mixed fruit salad
- Turkey with cranberry jus OR spaghetti pomorodo OR tortelli.
- Mini pasticcini (small bites of desserts : cookies, nocciole Mousse, gelato)
Tickets for the exclusive event are $156 for adults, or $220 with a wine pairing. Children 10 and older are $40, while those 9 and younger are free. Doors open at noon at The Langham, located on Fifth Avenue, New York City.
