Cool Job Alert: Legoland New York Is Hiring Kid Reporters

Last updated 26th July 2022

Calling all budding journalists and mini reporters. This might just be the best job ever.

Legoland New York Resort announced an open call for submissions for their Coolest Kid Job Search. The resort is looking to assemble a team of Kid News Reporters to cover the much anticipated new theme park and resort. Legoland New York is on the hunt to hire a fun team of five junior reporters and will host a monthlong search.

Think your kid has what it takes? Children applying must be between the ages of 6 through 12 and live within 100 miles of Goshen, NY (the location of the anticipated new theme park).

The Kid News Reporter Team will be led by Kids News NYC Kiditor-in-Chief, Waverly Winchester, and will report on the resort’s latest news and developments leading up to the spring 2020 grand opening.

This job also comes with some work perks. The selected kids will receive complimentary annual resort passes for them and their families, access to exclusive events and the park’s grand opening. And, of course, they will also gain valuable reporting skills and experiences along the way.

Little journalists ready to get in on the fun and apply can post a one-minute video explaining why they are the perfect choice to be a Legoland New York Kid Reporter to Facebook using the hashtag #LLNYKidReporter.
