Club Med’s First Canadian Ski Resort to Open

Last updated 3rd November 2017

Club Med, the pioneer in family-friendly all-inclusive vacations, has long been known for its tropical getaways and mountain ski resorts. Europe’s market on Club Med’s ski resorts will come to an end as the company announces its first-ever North American ski resort. Club Med’s first year-round mountain resort will open in Charlevoix, in Quebec, Canada.

Already providing excellent mountain resorts in 24 different areas of Europe, Japan and China, Canada now joins its ranks with a $93-million, 300-room boutique-style resort. Overlooking the Saint Laurence River, the Massif de Charlevoix ski mountain is just an hour from Quebec City and 90 minutes from the international airport, and Club Med plans to build its property at the base of this ski area by 2019.
