Beaches Resorts, a collection of three all-inclusive resorts for families in the Caribbean, has announced it will be adding a fourth location on the island of Tobago. Owned by Sandals Resorts International, the proposed property is a 750-room hotel.
Details on groundbreaking and opening dates have not yet been released, although Beaches is renowned for offering kids’ clubs, multiple pools, beachfront locations, a water park, numerous international dining options, and accommodations in various “villages” to provide families with a selection of styles and configurations.
Sandals had announced plans two years ago to expand its collection into Mexico. However, plans were put on hold to focus on bonging Caribbean projections. If the new resort is approved, it will join Beaches Turks and Caicos and Beaches Ocho Rios and Beaches Negril in Jamaica.
