The 31st annual American Sand Sculpting Championship and Beach Festival hits Fort Myers Beach Nov. 17 to 26, bringing more than 25 master sculptors and hundreds of amateurs to the Gulf of Mexico to create with sand.
The 10-day family-friendly event includes a State Championship, Quick Sand Speed Sculpting, Amateur contests, Chain Saw Art, sand sculpting demonstrations and lessons, kids’ activity area and more than 60 vendors. Live music will be offered daily.
Interested in visiting? The Wyndham Garden is offering accommodations, daily breakfast and festival passes for $199 nightly, and Lover’s Key Resort is offering $149 nightly rates.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with tickets just $7. (Children 4 and younger are free.)
