13 New Preferred Hotels & Resorts Coming in 2018

For boutique hotel lovers, Christmas comes early with the announcement that Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, will bring 13 new properties to its collection in 2018. Spanning across 85 countries around the world, five of the new properties will launch in America, including Nashville, Houston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale and Charleston, South Carolina.

This spring, American travelers will find the Bobby Hotel in Nashville providing 144 guest rooms and suites across nine stories in the Arts District and Uptown Houston’s 250-room and suite Post Oak Hotel, which also includes 20 executive residences, high-end fashion retailers, a Bugatti showroom and an on-call Rolls-Royce for guests.

In the summer, Las Olas Ocean Resort joins the art district in Fort Lauderdale, Hotel Sophy arrives in Chicago, and Hotel Bennett is welcomed in Charleston. Just to the north, Canada will debut the Hotel Monville in Montreal. To the south, two Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, properties join the family. Montage Los Cabos, on 39 acres with 122 guest rooms and suites, 52 residences, children’s programming, spa, and multiple dining launches in the spring, while Garza Blanca Los Cabos will follow suit in July.

The additional new properties include PhilsPlace in Vienna, Pestana Amserterdam Riverside in Amsterdam, The Middle House  and the Primus Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao in Shanghai, Sherwood Suites in Ho Chi Minh City,
