What’s your favorite vacation destination as a family? I found Barcelona to be a very kid-friendly spot with tons of playgrounds in those classic European squares. Park Guell is so colorful and imaginative… a perfect spot for kids. I love meeting moms from another country and despite language or cultural barriers we can connect over a common bond – our children.

What’s your favorite vacation destination as a couple? No question. Paris. You just can’t beat this romantic French city.

Your first family vacation memory with your kids? Our first big trip with our daughter was to New Zealand and Australia, where we rented a camper van and drove along the Gold Coast of Australia. One of my favorite memories was watching my then 9-month old daughter revel at the sight of a kangaroo hopping around. I could tell right then, that she too would have the travel bug. It’s in her blood.

What’s your kids favorite vacation? We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Puerto Rico and St. Maarten and the kids had a blast! Character meet and greets, parades on board, waterslides, splash pools, tons of kid-themed activities and special events. They didn’t want to come home.

What would you take on a desert island? Beyond some of the obvious things I’d need to actually survive on this desert island, I’d take my Kindle (so I’d have unlimited access to some good reading material), my Bose noise cancelling headphones (so I could block out the sound of any Howler monkeys) and an espresso machine (to kick back and enjoy the endless ocean view).

What’s on your family vacation wish list? When the kids are a bit older, I’d love to take them on a safari through South Africa and Tanzania. Truly the most life-changing, impactful, epic experience that I can’t wait to share with my kids.
