What’s your favorite vacation destination as a family?

My new favorite is Mexico’s Riviera Maya. If you want a family-friendly destination with plenty of adventures this is it. We went there in April and I can’t wait to go back!

What’s your favorite vacation destination as a couple? Tanzania and Zanzibar, where we had our amazing honeymoon.

Your first family vacation memory with your kids? When my daughters were 3 and 6 months old we took them to South Africa on an incredible road trip. We drove 600 miles in 16 days and managed to squeeze in a safari. I remember our baby sleeping in a car seat in an open-top jeep while lions wandered past beneath us. It was a little scary!

What’s your kids favorite vacation? Anywhere there’s a beach, although they love skiing too.

What would you take on a desert island? Being the least practical person in my family, I’d take a good book because I never get the chance to read, a snorkel and mask, a hammock and a bottle of wine!

What’s on your family vacation wish list? There are quite a few on my list, but Walt Disney World, Costa Rica and The Galapagos Islands are at the top. I’ve also always dreamed of doing a family camp somewhere in the US!
