Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino

Why Stay

Located in the heart of Oranjestad, the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino is a unique property that caters to every kind of traveler. For families, the Renaissance Ocean Suites property offers a perfect blend of relaxing getaway and fun escape. The spacious standard one-bedroom suites all offer king-size beds and queen-size sofa beds. Sweeping terrace and balcony views let guests look out over the expansive pool area all the way to the turquoise ocean waves. For those looking for a bit more space, the Presidential Suite features two full bedrooms and bathrooms.

Honeymooners, babymooners, or parents just looking for some quiet time can also enjoy the adult-only Renaissance Marina Hotel property just up the road from the Ocean Suites (guests have full access to both properties throughout the stay). Cool off with a dip in the infinity pool, grab a drink at the Blue Bar or enter relaxation mode at the Okeanos Spa.

But the true showstopper of this resort is its luxury private island, available exclusively to guests of the Renaissance Aruba. Hop on the water taxi that picks up at both properties and be whisked away to the ultimate paradise. Families will enjoy Iguana Beach, named for the reptile friends who like to hang out in the area. Kids will love playing in the gentle waters and families can also rent beach cabanas for the day for lounging (though you’ll want to book these far in advance since they fill up fast!).

Parents can sneak off to the pristine stretch of sand set aside just for adults known as Flamingo Beach for, yup you guessed it, the famed pink birds who strut along the water and will pose for photos when bribed with a bit of food.

What Kids Can Do

The kids club offered at the Ocean Suites property will keep little ones entertained all day. You also can’t go wrong letting them splash around in the two large pools or the secluded ocean bay area all just steps from the rooms. On the private island, kids can take part in iguana feedings and can also visit the usually adults-only Flamingo Beach early in the mornings for a chance to see and feed the famed pink flamingos. If parents are looking for a little alone time or a night out on the town (or in the on-property casino), baby sitting services are also available.

Dining Options

Reanissance Aruba has options galore when it comes to on-property dining. Grab a quick bite and sample traditional Caribbean food at Aquarius or enjoy a casual breakfast at Captain’s Corner. For a more elegant, upscale meal don’t miss L.G. Smith’s Steak & Chop House.

On the private island, grab a burger, pizza or something from the grill at Papgayo Bar & Grill. Or truly live the life of luxury and order a tropical drink from one of the beach waiters who will bring it right to you on the beach.

Or, take a day to explore and enjoy one of the many excellent local restaurants in Aruba. After all, one of the best parts of this property is how great it is as a jumping off point for exploring the rest of this pristine island.
