Opening this month in Switzerland, the 22nd edition of the Igloo Village in Switzerland will open featuring igloos made from scratch. Thew newest Igloo Village Schilthorn features the backdrop of the Alps.
Using 1,000 tons of snow, Igloo Villages feature guest rooms carved into ice and decorate with ice carvings, accommodating overnight guests and day visitors just wanting to check out the 15 guest rooms, igloo restaurant and bar, and features like the igloo kitchen, hot tub and spa, and igloo bathrooms. Guests sleep in rooms below freezing temperatures in insulated sleeping bags and receive a warm cup of tea to start the morning, while enjoy traditional Swiss fondue and meals for lunch and dinner.
