Last updated 30th November 2017

At Scotland’s iconic “glorious playground,” The Gleneagles Hotel has debuted a brand-new Little Glen and Den spaces to cater to ages 2 to 15. Providing everything from an interior countryside playground, to a cinema room with life-size Jenga and film screenings,  kids can be entertained while the parents and teens indulge in a wide variety of pursuits such as falconry, clay shooting, gun dog training, Range Rover off-roading, and fly-fishing on the new Drummond Estate.

The new Little Glen, for ages 2 to 9, provides a colorful, vibrant and fully supervised crèche. The countryside theme includes an indoor treehouse; toy campfire and tepees; play stables with hobby horses; Gleneagles railway carriage; and pretend grass flooring scattered with “cuddly” wildlife chairs.

The new Den, for age 6 to 15, is an unsupervised facility filled with a variety of stimulating and interactive play resources and has been specially designed as a hangout and recreation space for older children and young teenagers. Its series of linked rooms contain everything from PS4s, Xboxes, arts and crafts, pool and air hockey, to traditional games like Chinese Checkers, Dominoes, Backgammon and Charades. The relaxed cinema room with its big comfy floor cushions will entertain young guests with regular film screenings, while the giant-sized games area encourages play through a full floor-sized game of snakes and ladders, giant Connect Four, giant Jenga, and a huge wall-mounted Scrabble board.
Little Glen is open from 9am to 5pm and is available free of charge for up to two hours (thereafter costing £10 per hour, for a maximum of four hours). Use of The Den is free of charge from 9am to 10pm.
