Last updated 21st December 2017

Any parent of a child on a travel sports team can understand the difficulty of finding a hotel when the kids have a tournament. Now, an innovative new resort in Nevada is aiming to become a tournament destination resort as a dedicated sports ranch. The Rising Star Sports Ranch in Mesquite, Nevada, will be the second U.S. facility outside of ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando to serve as a facility for sports competitions and housing for teams and their families.

Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is a new all-in-one training and competitive athletic complex and resort. Located 80 miles north of Las Vegas and just over 30 miles south of St. George, Utah, the Ranch is a smoke-free resort featuring 219 unique rooms, an on-site soccer field, baseball training area, and a 30,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose fieldhouse referred to as The Barn. The facility, which accommodates sports from basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, cheer and wrestling to turf sports such as football, soccer and lacrosse, is a game changer for the City of Mesquite, allowing it to attract new sports, and thus new visitors. The Barn can host multiple sports on the turf or hardwood courts during the hot summer months. Creating a complete year-round experience at the resort has secured a number of elite events in the fieldhouse.

The resort has unique room types and configurations perfect for youth sports, golf getaways or a vacation. The resort’s social centerpiece: The Backyard which is a park-like area in the center of the resort towers with basketball courts, horseshoe pits, fire pits, picnic tables, barbecue grills, putting greens and pickle ball courts and pool.
