Los Cabos, Mexico, has welcomed two new luxury resorts as the first phase of the 834-acre Rancho San Lucas private resort. The all-suite properties are both Solmar Hotels & Residents, providing both resort and residential experiences.
Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort Golf & Spa and Grand Solmar The Residences at Rancho San Lucas bring 89 oceanfront suites to the new Baja Peninsula resort. Suites include Grand Studios, one-bedroom Master Suites and two-bedroom Presidential Suites, while the Residences provide two- to four-bedroom Penthouse Suites.
Guests of the property will soon enjoy an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Greg Norman, when it opens in late 2018/early 2019. In the meantime, the resort pools are open with food and beverage service, as well as the resort’s spa. Anica, the resort’s signature restaurant, provides authentic Mexican fare and fresh seafood, while al fresco dining is available at Brisas Grill Bar and the poolside Tide Bar.
Upon competition, the resort will offer 594 suites, with 105 within the Residences. To celebrate the new opening, starting rates are being offered at $429.
