The New Museum of Ice Cream Is Open in Miami (And It’s Awesome!)

Last updated 13th December 2017

The Museum of Ice Cream in Miami officially opened its doors to visitors on December 13. The newest location is one of four you can visit around the country. Other locations of the popular attraction include LA, New York and San Francisco. Founder and Creative Director, Maryellis Bunn chose sunny Miami as their next location to celebrate its diverse and culturally inclusive environment. The new Miami location is a four-story building full of fun surprises kids and adults will love and embraces the iconic art deco style Miami is famous for while also offering gorgeous ocean views.

The lighthearted and imaginative space includes several different theme rooms for visitors to explore and interact with. In the Bunns Shake room, experience a throwback to the 1950s with a retro diner. Meanwhile, the Jungle room beckons visitors with bubblegum palms and giant banana and cherry swings. Other rooms include dancing, giant ice cream sculptures, sand castles and much more.

Of course, no visit to the colorful space would be complete without taking a dip in the Sprinkle Pool and stopping to enjoy the delicious treats offered at every colorful turn. And don’t worry, they even have a vegan, kosher, gluten free treat so everyone can enjoy something sweet.

The Museum of Ice Cream is open Wednesday-Monday and tickets include tastings and new in-house treats available only at the Miami location. Tickets are $38 per person and are available in advance online-only.
