Cruise Line Adds On-Water Race Track

Norwegian Cruise Line continues to up the cruise game with its special amenities and attractions with the launch of the a race track on a cruise ship. Setting sail April 2018, Norwegian Bliss will feature a 1,000-foot-long two-lever race track on its top deck. The 4,000-passenger cruise ship follows the same path its sister ship, Norwegian Joy, is following, although will debut in the American market to offer U.S. families the chance to race at sea.

The Bliss track, 40% longer than on the Chinese Joy ship, features electric race cars with four speeds to accommodate novice, intermediate and advanced drivers.

More thrilling innovations on the new Bliss include an open-air laser tag course, two high-speed Ocean Loops free-fall water slides, and a tandem 360-foot Aqua Racer slide and Aqua Park.

Norwegian Bliss will makes its way to Seattle in April for summer 2018 Alaska is sailings before returning to its home port of Miami for Eastern Caribbean sailings in the fall of 2018.
