Harrison’s Chesapeake House was once an iconic property in Maryland, housing politicians and sports figures from nearby Washington, D.C. for more than a century. The tears took its toll and the hotel has undergone a complete renovation and has been reborn as the Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island. As a new destination resort, the property will debut in April.
Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island rests on 9 acres, offering a bayside retreat for 54 guest rooms with a seaside cottage look and feel. Being on the bay, 25 boat slips are available, as well as charter fishing excursions and onsite dining offering the best and freshest foods from the Chesapeake.
Guests may also relax in the new saltwater swimming pool, enjoy kayaks and standup paddle boards, and relax on the property’s great lawn.
Booking is now open for stays beginning April 15. Grand opening bookings for a two-night minimum stay are being offered at $200 per night.
