9 Magical New Attractions Coming to Disney World in 2020

Walt Disney World is ever changing and that’s part of the magic! In 2020, the park has a whole slew of new attractions you and the family don’t want to miss. From new hotels and shows to a massive Epcot transformation, here’s a list of nine major changes coming to the most Magical Place on Earth, Disney World.

1/9 Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Ratatouille fans will love this new attraction slated to open in the summer of 2020 in the France Pavilion in Epcot. It’s a trackless ride-through attraction weaving in and around Chef Remy’s restaurant.

2/9 Cirque Du Soleil and Disney’s Drawn to Life Show

The new show at Disney Springs combines the artistry of the Disney Imagineers, Cirque du Soleil and Disney Animators to celebrate the history of Disney animation.

3/9 Mary Poppins

The first ever Mary Poppins attraction is coming to The United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot. Stroll past Admiral Boom’s home then onto the Bank’s family home at 17 Cherry Tree Lane. Get ready for a spoonful of sugar!

4/9 Beauty and the Beast Sing Along at Epcot

There’s a new Beauty and the Beast Sing Along in the France Pavilion in Epcot. It’s directed and produced by Don Hahn who directed the animated movie Beauty and the Beast. You will even hear narration from the original Mrs. Potts, Angela Lansbury.

5/9 Mickey and Minnie

It’s hard to believe but Mickey and Minnie have never had their own ride in Disney World that is until now! The new Mickey and Minnie attraction, Runaway Railway is set to open March 4th in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The ride will be a ride-through attraction following along with Mickey and Minnie headed out on a picnic. There’s also a very catchy theme song that you won’t be able to stop singing.

6/9 Moana

Finally Moana will have her own attraction in the newly imagined World Nature at Epcot called “Journey of Water.” Guests can expect to interact “with magical, living water” and be fully immersed as if they are actually in the movie.

7/9 Space 220

Imagine what it would be like to dine 220 miles above Epcot. Welcome to the new Space 220. The new attraction starts with guests rocketing into orbit to travel to the Centauri Space Station to dine on an out-of-this world dinner.

8/9 Hotels

The classic Disney hotels are always a favorite amongst guests and now you’ll have even more options, including the new Destino Towers at Coronado Springs, the awesome Yacht and Beach Club and the WDW Good Neighbor hotel. In 2020 though be sure to check out, Disney’s newest luxury property, The Riviera Resort which opened December 16th, 2019. It’s a waterfront, Mediterranean-themed property and Disney’s 15th Vacation Club. It also is a stop on the super convenient Skyliner, which takes you to Hollywood Studios or Epcot.

9/9 Harmonious US

Disney is calling this new attraction the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney Park. It will feature the music of Disney reinterpreted by a wide range of artists worldwide. There will also be floating set pieces, LED panels, choreographed fountain, lights, lasers and pyrotechnics.
