Last updated 3rd November 2020

Good news for families, Disney Cruise Line is back at sea for early 2022 with fun-filled family vacations to Hawai’i and several other gloriously tropical destinations, including the Caribbean and The Bahamas, Baja and the Pacific Coast.

Disney Cruise Line has already opened bookings for family cruises in early 2022. So it’s not too soon to get excited at the thought of spending time with kids on gorgeous Hawaiian beaches; sailing up the Panama Canal; surfing off the California coast or exploring legendary cities like San Francisco, New Orleans and Cartagena. You can also look forward to Florida cruises with Walt Disney World Resort as part of the adventure. And Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, is another unforgettable experience for kids included in several early 2022 itineraries.

Flexible family cruises to suit everyone

Whether you want to sail away for a long weekend in sunny Baja or spend 10-nights island hopping around the Pacific, Disney Cruise Line has just about all family favourites covered with their line-up of cruises for early 2022. You can choose to sail from Vancouver, Florida, Port Canaveral, Miami, San Diego, Galveston or New Orleans. And an incredibly thoughtful range of cruise lengths gives you the added flexibility that really works for family vacations. So now you just have to decide where you want to go.

Dream destinations for kids of all ages

Hawai’i takes top billing for families with promises of Waikiki Beach, Maui’s Haleakala Crater and legendary Honolulu, alongside the thrill of an activity-packed voyage from Vancouver aboard the Disney Wonder.

Castaway Cay (Disney’s private Bahamian island) and Walt Disney World Resort are all part of the excitement on Florida cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. Or sail from San Diego to Mexico and you can pick and choose destinations from Cabo San Lucas to California’s Catalina Island.

Older kids and teenagers are a good fit for Pacific Coast cruises with urban adventures in the mix. And, if you have 14-nights free, think about sailing San Diego, New Orleans, Cartagena, Grand Cayman and several other incredible destinations on a Panama Canal family cruise.

More good news for 2022 as Disney Cruise Line launches Disney Wish

Disney Wish, the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will set sail on its maiden voyage in summer 2022. Built at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Germany, it’s the first ship in Disney’s fleet to be powered by LNG (liquified natural gas), which is currently one of the world’s cleanest burning fuels.
