Paws in Paradise at Boca Raton Resort

Last updated 8th February 2018

Pets are part of our family and Boca Raton Resort & Club in South Florida is making it easier to travel with our pets. The Waldorf Astoria Resort launched Paws in Paradise, treating four-legged guests the same first-class luxury of their owners, with welcome amenities, signature spa treatments, dining options and an in-house veterinarian.

At check-in, pets will be greeted by Hays, the resort’s “Canine Director,” in addition to receiving water and food bowls, a luxury dog bed, and access to the dog park at the Bungalows. For events and conferences, the Resort and Club offers the Puppies & Ice Cream Breakout Session, where attendees can interact with service animals.

As an added service, the resort provides dog sitting and walking, pooch “Nanny Cams” available to rent and resort-branded wardrobe accessories. In partnership with Chateau Poochie, a local, full-service luxury canine hotel, Boca Raton Resort & Club will also provide guests’ pets with pampered grooming and indulging spa treatments, doggy daycare social lounge play, and five-star overnight boarding. The Chateau Poochie limo offers both pickup and drop off for its canine guests.

“Since adopting Hays, the resort’s ‘Canine Director’ and puppy-in-training as part of the Assistance Dogs of Hawaii Program, we were inspired to a launch a pet-friendly program that speaks to the luxury of the resort,” said John Tolbert, President and Managing Director of Boca Raton Resort & Club. “Hays also served as an inspiration for the launch of the resort’s fundraising efforts for service dogs, and we could not be more excited to find additional ways to give back to our community and to all of our canine guests.”

To ensure the safety and health of all pups on-property, Boca Raton Resort & Club offers its members and guests access to the property’s exclusive veterinary services. The resort’s Veterinarian Concierge, Dr. Tanis Whyte, offers services and care for pet medical needs by appointment.

The $150 one-time, non-refundable fee includes dog-friendly room service, daily tuck-in service, dining options at Shaka and 501 East Terrace as well as access to the marina, resort shuttle, and designated pet relief stations in the Tower, Yacht Club and Cloister.

The resort and club provides a full dog park with designated pet relief stations, luxurious dog beds, and custom-made dog accessories for discerning pups. For canine guests with sea legs, Boca Beach Club offers paddleboards for dogs and their owners to enjoy together on the Atlantic coastline.
