Royal Museums Greenwich are offering one lucky family an adventure on board the Cutty Sark
Climb aboard Cutty Sark for a voyage of discovery full of sea creatures and sea people this summer. You can take part in the family workshops (selected dates only), catch flying fish, design your own sea monster or join a flotsam weaving workshop – all free with admission to the ship.
Don’t forget to meet the characters from the ship’s past to learn about their incredible lives on board: Captain Woodget – the ship’s most daring master, Emma Louise Ray – the mother of a young sailor aboard Cutty Sark, Nannie – the ship’s figurehead or the ship’s Cook James Robson.
You can explore and learn more about the fascinating history by following a free family explorer trail. Or, for those young budding sailors amongst you, borrow an under 5s back pack, navigate the ship on the interactive steering game and climb into the bunk beds where the crew used to sleep.
