It's day 11 of our 12 Days of Christmas Competition and today you're in with a chance to win an overnight family getaway at The Quays, Greater Manchester’s stunning waterfront destination.

The prize includes a visit to IWM North, with its quirky architecture and fascinating collections, exploring how war continues to shape and change lives. Running until 10 April 2016 is the interactive ‘Horrible Histories: Blitzed Brits’ exhibition, which invites families to discover the sights, sounds and smells of wartime Britain.

Winners will receive a special goody bag including a copy of the Horrible Histories: Blitzed Brits book by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown, a Horrible Histories Top Trumps card game and an Air Raid warden whistle, among other goodies.

Next there’s the opportunity to cruise along Manchester’s famous Ship Canal, taking in the city’s stunning scenery with City Centre Cruises, or head over to the Lowry Outlet for some designer shopping at discount prices.

Winners will also enjoy a fabulous performance at The Lowry theatre, with its programme of family-friendly shows. The Lowry art galleries too are a highlight, housing the largest public collection of paintings and drawings by LS Lowry in the world.

And after an action packed day, you’ll stay bed and breakfast at the 4* star Copthorne Hotel, overlooking the waterfront.
