Esprit Ski family ski holidays are back in France and ItalySponsored
Excited about family ski holidays this year? Esprit Ski couldn’t be more excited to take families back to the reopened slopes in France and Italy for winter 2021/22. Take a look at what’s new and what’s still amazing this season.
Esprit Ski welcomes you back to family ski holidays with exceptional childcare
Family ski resorts in France and Italy may have been quiet recently, but Esprit Ski has clearly been working overtime. For winter 2021/22, infant childcare has been revamped to a new In-Chalet Nanny Service and Private Nanny Service. There’s also the choice of new family chalets. And a couple of chalet hotels in France and Italy have been redesigned.
Of course, some things were just too good to change, like excellent children’s clubs and ski lessons from age three. So the promise of ‘time for the kids, time for you, time together’, is true as ever this winter. And as Esprit Ski practically invented the idea of family ski holidays with built in childcare over 39 years ago, parents can still look forward to carefree skiing and kids experiencing everything that makes snowy winter breaks magical.
It probably feels too long since you’ve all been skiing. So here’s a quick reminder of what families love about Esprit Ski.
Esprit Ski is all about families having a great time, on and off the slopes
We might have mentioned it before, but it’s hard to believe Esprit Ski has been creating family ski holidays for almost 40 years. Take a look below to see what they offer.
- Esprit Childcare begins with Infant Care from 17 weeks and looks after kids right up until age 12.
- A low children to staff ratio is key to the confidence parents have always had in Esprit Ski childcare.
- Infant care (17 weeks to 3 years, 4 months) is available all day, six days a week.
- Fun and friendly Snow Club (3 to 8 years) cares for kids every afternoon. And Cocoa Club (3 to 12 years) provides evening childcare in Esprit Ski chalet hotels.
- Ski lessons for kids start from age three at Esprit Ski. And, along with Snow Club, give parents the luxury of all day skiing whenever they want.
- All staff from nannies to Snow Rangers are personally vetted and handpicked by Esprit Ski. They’re all English-speaking and have a passion for working with children.
- The In-Chalet Nanny Service is new for winter 2021/22 and means children up to age three are cared for in a familiar environment.
- The new Private Nanny Service lets you tailor childcare exactly to the needs of your kids and your own holiday plans.
- All resorts in France and Italy are hand chosen by the Esprit Ski team. And they’ve decades of experience, so know everything you want will be covered.
To make it even easier for families, Esprit Ski holidays include accommodation with a choice of catering options. And flights are also included, from no fewer than 13 UK airports, as well as transfers to and from resorts.
Family friendly ski resorts with world class skiing in France and Italy
Esprit Ski focus on France and Italy because the skiing is fantastic and no other countries in Europe are as family friendly on the resort front. That said, not just any old French or Italian ski resorts make the grade. Esprit Ski are famously choosy and expect the highest standards to be met. Good news for families, because you don’t have to think about anything except getting out on the slopes and your kids having the time of their lives.
Val d’Isere, France: the high altitude Espace Killy legend
Val d’Isere is very much the skier’s ski resort. It’s high altitude and exceptionally long season (late November to early May). An extensive modern lift network gets you onto the slopes, fast. And there’s a broad range of skiing, so it’s a great choice for beginners through to experts.
Esprit Ski Val d’Isere gives families the choice of apartments, chalets and chalet hotels. Popular Chalet Hotel Ducs de Savoie has been recently modernised and reopens for winter 2021/22 with refreshed lounge areas and bedrooms: think designer cosiness. If you prefer a little more space, Chalet Izia Apartments offer two or three bedroom apartments. Plus it has a spa and indoor pool. And you’re just a short walk from Esprit Ski childcare.
La Rosiere, France: sunny, snow-sure and views for miles
Families love La Rosiere with good reason. The resort sits above the Tarentaise Valley for remarkable views and as much sun as possible. It also has an excellent and very accessible lift network. And it’s known as one of the most family friendly ski resorts in France, right down the motto, ‘The Resort Where Children Are Royalty’. Parents won’t feel left out, the local ski areas are Tignes-Val d’Isere, Les Arcs and La Plagne.
Tignes, France: over 300km of piste and the Grand Motte Glacier
Experienced skiers list Tignes in the world’s top ten resorts. It’s reliably snow-sure all season, has over 300km of groomed piste, extensive off piste terrain and throws in the legendary Grand Motte Glacier for good measure. And as Esprit Ski accommodation, children’s ski areas and childcare are all close together, families love it here too.
Chalet Arktic is new to Esprit Ski Tignes this winter. Perfect for families holidaying together, it also sits on Tignes Le Lac and has stunning views. Lifts are just two minutes’ walk away and the chalet itself is fresh, bright and comes with a sun terrace, sauna and hot tub.
Champoluc, Italy: welcome to the enormous Monterosa ski area
If you like varied skiing, Champoluc is the resort to choose. It’s part of the vast Monterosa ski area. A fantastic network of lifts and pistes link it to Italy’s Three Valleys. And it’s said that no two ski days on Monterosa are ever alike. Yet there are few crowds, even at peak season. Which means you’ve more room to enjoy tree lined slopes, incredible views and charming mountain restaurants – reason alone for family ski holidays in Champoluc.
Esprit Ski’s Chalet Hotel de Champoluc is right next to the Crest Gondola. Esprit Ski kids clubs and children’s ski lessons are nearby. And Several family rooms have been upgraded for winter 2021/22.
