Get yeti! Smallfoot teams up with Esprit Ski

When I was little, there was much talk of yetis. To my young mind these mythical creatures really could exist in the wilds of the Arctic, just like Santa and his elves. So I’m happy that yetis are back on the agenda in Warner Bros. new winter blockbuster, Smallfoot, out Friday 12 October.

This feel-good animated feature film is just the ticket to get kids in the mood for a winter getaway. The tables are turned on our human-centric view of the world, as it’s the yetis who discover the smallfoots! With its original music and an all-star cast including Channing Tatum, James Corden, Zendaya and Danny DeVito, it’s the age-old story of existing peacefully side by side, with a whole load of action and laughs along the way.

Warner Bros. selected Esprit Ski to partner with this winter to bring the joy of Smallfoot and yetis to life in their ski resorts including La Rosiere, an Esprit Ski family favourite that has just has a 15million euro expansion including two new chairlifts and a panoramic glass-bottomed walk way attraction with views towards Mont Blanc. Yeti-themed fun and games back at the chalet after lessons on the slopes will keep kids entertained when parents are still tackling their downhill techniques.

Esprit Ski knows that family ski trips can be a big expense, and despite unfavourable exchange rates due to Brexit, they have endeavoured to keep prices competitive for families.

Esprit Ski offers seven nights at the Chalet Romeo in La Rosiere starting from £679 per adult departing on 6 January 2019. Chalet Romeo is set over two floors with access to a sauna and the nearest lift just 110m away. The price includes return flights, transfers and chalet catering accommodation with afternoon tea and complimentary wine. Esprit’s Childcare is available from £349 for six full days for children aged between 17 weeks and 12 years old. This includes nurseries and snow clubs and Esprit-only ski lessons and supervised ski guiding.

For the winter school holiday rush, Esprit Ski has introduced three new pop-up chalets in Tignes, France. Chalet Corniche, Chalet Chamois and Chalet Aiglon are available for families at Christmas, New Year, February half term and Easter, though it’s important to book childcare early as there are small nanny to child ratios which means spaces are limited.
