Book your tickets now for this year’s Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, from 3 to 12 October. Former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen will lead the festival’s Book It! programme for families and young adults, showcasing classics such as We’re Going On A Bear Hunt.
He will also be interviewing current Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman about her best-selling Noughts and Crosses books. In fact, this year’s festival features no fewer than six former and current Children’s Laureates.
Henry Winkler, aka The Fonz, will also be hosting an event based around his best-selling Hank Zipzer, The World’s Greatest Underachiever. Aside from famous faces, young visitors will be treated to a programme of events that includes amazing nonfiction readings, fun crafty sessions and edgy teen panels, as well as an inspiring programme of creative writing and illustrating workshops.
