Raymond Blanc Introduces New Weekend Dates for Children’s Cookery Courses

Now it’s easier than ever for your kids to have fun (and learn something new!) on the weekends. From culinary cuties to junior master chefs, every child is sure to enjoy Raymond Blanc’s La Petite Ecole’s children’s cookery courses, which are now being offered on weekends throughout the year.

Previously limited to school holidays, The Children’s Course is open for kids ages seven to 16, who will be taught in Belmond Le Manoir’s two-acre kitchen garden, and learn about the vegetables they eat, organic foods, sustainable farming, health and nutrition. There will also be a herb tasting competition and instruction on making one of Blanc’s favourite childhood desserts, Illes Flottantes (Floating Islands). 

A day in the cookery school starts at 8:45am and includes all tuition, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and a course certificate.


Weekend dates:

Children aged 10-12 years – Sunday 6 July, Saturday 25 October

Children aged 13-16 years – Saturday 19 April, Sunday 20 July, Saturday 2 August, Saturday 8 November

Adult and child aged 12-16 years – Sunday 1 June
