With its movie-themed decor, buzzy atmosphere and menu of all-American favourites, it’s no surprise that Planet Hollywood is a magnet for children.
Now the London restaurant has launched a new A La Carte Menu, so alongside their traditional offering of burgers and wings, you will now find gluten-free meals, special summer drinks and plenty of new recipes. We were pleasantly surprised by the new pear and walnut salad, served on a bed of red chard, baby spinach and pecorino cheese – perhaps not what you’d expect to tuck into at Planet Hollywood!
But don’t worry, burger fans won’t be disappointed. Planet Hollywood has created a new Surf & Turf option, which sees their classic cheeseburger served with six, skewered king prawns. No matter how full you are after your burgers, it would be a sin to leave without first trying the new Toblerone Cheesecake, an epic dessert that speaks for itself.
Planet Hollywood is located at the heart of Piccadilly, a short walk from the baffling buskers of Trafalgar Square, the bright lights of the West End theatres and kids’ wonderland, Hamleys toy store. Just stepping inside the restaurant is an experience in itself, given that there are over 80 pieces of iconic Hollywood props on display. Look out for the genuine Storm Trooper’s helmet and the life-sized model of Arnie from Terminator 2.
