Mini Boden meets Wind in the Willows

Last updated 23rd June 2017

Here at Family Traveller we’re already excited about Mini Boden’s autumn/winter 17 collection inspired by Kenneth Graham’s classic children’s tale, The Wind in the Willows.

The collection transports kids to the British countryside and a world inhabited by Graham’s enchanting novel. Designs take inspiration from the riverbank, the Wild Wood and the open road, with a cheerful array of creatures featuring in special prints and appliqués.

Expect a delightful dose of nostalgia, offset with modern shapes and vibrant bursts of colour. Sporty stripes are straight from the boathouse, while the wildflowers and berries that thrive on the roadside inspire florals, in versatile pieces that are perfect for your little ones to explore the great outdoors. The escapades of Mr Toad fuel an obsession with all things automotive, as colourful motorcars zoom across prints for boys and girls, and appear in sequin form on an embellished party skirt.

Colourful stripes and animal motifs are always a winner with children

Baby Boden evokes the theme through delicate hand-drawn prints, crochet ducks and one adorable embroidered Mole.

To get yourselves in the mood for this collection, book tickets to see the new production of Wind in the Willows musical at the London Palladium from June 17th. Tickets from £15.
