Le Manoir Aux Quat’saisons: Kids Stay Free

Last updated 3rd January 2017

What’s new? For a quintessential English break this October, take the kids to Raymond Blanc’s Oxfordshire hotel, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, where they can enjoy all sorts of autumnal activities to keep their minds busy during the holidays.

Visit Le Manoir’s charming gardens and share its famous chef’s passion for grow-your-own, learning about the 90 types of vegetables and 70 herbs that are in the two-acre plot. Explore the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside, Le Manoir provides bikes and maps so you can get around easily. Or if the weather forces it, stay inside by a roaring fire and dig into the lovely toy box or play on the Nintendo Wii.

The offer includes the seasonal children’s dinner menu with dishes such as goujons of cornish hake, warming macaroni cheese and Maman Blanc’s floating islands for dessert. While for you, there’s the tight-trouser-inducing tasting menu.

The offer: As a special offer for Family Traveller readers, nearby Waddesdon Manor (pictured bottom right) is offering free entry to the house and gardens for parents and children staying at Le Manoir during October half term (two adults and two children per pass).

The Family Escape is available Sunday – Thursday inclusive (subject to availability) and starts from £1,030 in a Deluxe Courtyard Room, with a maximum of two children in a room. This includes six-course menu for two adults, dinner from the children’s menu, English breakfast for the whole family and extra beds in the room.

Book: For reservations, email lemanoir@blanc.co.uk or call 01844 278881 and mention Family Traveller.
