A decade of family travel

2016 marks the 10th anniversary for Families Worldwide, which now features over 50 trips – both group and tailor-made options – to 40 countries around the world. Founded by Mark Wright, the man who pioneered family adventure holidays, the company’s in-house experts know just what’s needed for the perfect family adventure.

There are 13 brand-new itineraries for 2016, including a 12-day Kruger, Zulus & Coast in South Africa, highlights of which include game drives to spot the Big Five in the Kruger National Park, sleeping in a ‘beehive hut’ and learning about the Zulus and their way of life (from £1,399 per adult, £1,299 per child).

Closer to home is an eight-day Alpine Adventure in Slovenia, based in picturesque Bled. Highlights include rafting down the Soca River, guided walks around the lakes and mountains and sea kayaking around Skocijan caves (from £999 per adult, £949 per child).
