Children’s Cookery Classes at London Italian Restaurant Tozi

Last updated 3rd January 2017

What’s new? London Italian restaurant Tozi has started cookery classes for children during the school holidays, giving kids the chance to learn how to cook classic Italian food and get them confident in the kitchen!

Located in London Victoria – where you can go and catch a show at one of the area’s many theatres while the kids are busy learning – the lessons are taught by the restaurant’s head chef, Maurilio Molteni, with assistance from the all-Italian kitchen team.

Kids will get to grips with two classic mains of pizza and filled pasta, as well as the classic Italian desserts of biscotti and gelato. Starting from scratch, they will make their own pizza and pasta dough and choose their ingredients before tucking into their finished products at the end!

THE LOWDOWN:

The classes are available for kids aged five and up, and accommodate six children at a time so that each child gets hands-on tuition and supervision as they learn each dish.

Price: £10 per child for an hour and a half lesson.

Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm–5pm during the Easter, half-term and summer school holidays.

More information: TOZI is a vibrant Italian restaurant specialising in cicchetti (small plates) which is inspired by Italiy’s casual dining tradition and contemporary cocktails. It has a private dining area, Chef’s table and regular wine masterclasses. Giving it extra cool points is the champagne on tap and homemade barrel-aged cocktails – book a babysitter for this one.
