WHAT'S NEW?

The world’s largest cruise ship is to sail in the Mediterranean for the first time in 2015.

Royal Caribbean International’s 5,400-passenger Allure of the Seas is due to run seven-night cruises from Barcelona between May and October, 2015.

The European deployment of this new big ship will follow sister ship Oasis of the Seas running a short series of Mediterranean cruises in late summer in 2014, as well as Anthem of the Seas, which features bumper cars and a skydiving simulator, sailing from Southampton from next spring.

DESTINATIONS

Royal Caribbean's Alllure of the Seas will sail from Barcelona to Palma, Marseilles, La Spezia for Florence and Pisa, and Civitavecchia for Rome and Naples. You'll also have the option to join the ship in Civitavecchia for a week-long cruise starting and ending in the Italian port.
