Just So Festival 2014

Last updated 9th June 2017

Why go?

Looking for a festival that’s genuinely family-friendly? The Just So Festival, set within the secure walls of Cheshire’s beautiful Rode Hall Parkland, invites adults and kids to throw away their inhibitions and immerse themselves in a world of pillow fights, midnight feasts, campfires, jiving and acrobats.

The musical line-up is rife with accordions, ukuleles, banjos and horns, with festival favourites Cut A Shine and the Perhaps Contraption being joined by Gabby Young and Other Animals.

The festival has much to offer its very smallest visitors and the Peekaboo area will not only have all the logistics in place for babies to enjoy the festival in style, but it will also charm under-threes with a world of clay, cellos, choral lullabies and sensory play.

‘Time has flown by since the first Just So Festival in 2010,’ says co-Director Sarah Bird. ‘We’re so excited about our fifth birthday celebrations – we’re going all out to give families the most marvellous adventure yet. The programme in 2014 will be a sumptuous feast of the curious, eccentric and awe-inspiring.’
