Henley Festival

Last updated 9th June 2017

Why go?

Set on the River Thames, Henley Festival is five nights of food, visual arts, fashion, street theatre, comedy and music – a fun treat for your festival-loving teenagers. So if you’re not already busy this weekend and want to enjoy the good weather, then head down to the river.

Activities

Throughout the five days, Henley will enjoy music legends The Beach Boys, Jamie Cullum and Madness, and comedy icons Barry Cryer, Alexander Armstrong and Rich Hall.

To close each evening, there will be a Firework Spectacular along to Pandemonium, the troop of drummers who played in the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.

If you plan to stay late (or leave the kids at home), there will be DJs and dancing in the Indigo tent in the evening.

Food: Father and son duo Albert Roux and Michel Roux Jr have a riverside restaurant where they will serve a candlelight dinner, and there are five other restaurants on site for guests to choose from, too.

Music: Wednesday 10th July, The Beach Boys; Thursday 11 July, Jamie Cullum; Friday 12 July, Madness; Saturday 13 July, James Bond themed gala evening, Shaken & Stirred hosted by Joanna Lumley; Sunday 14 July, Paloma Faith
