February half-term

Burscombe Farm,  Devon

Burscombe Farm in South Devon is located on a 400-acre family-run working farm in the heart of the Devonshire countryside and just three miles from the coastal town of Sidmouth.

The local area offers plenty of activities to keep the young ones entertained including Crealy Adventure Park, whilst the property also features a trampoline, swing and the opportunity to get involved with all the fun of the farm including watching the milking.

This wing of the main farmhouse sleeps four and offers fantastic views of the garden and surrounding countryside, along with TV, DVD and wifi. One dog is also allowed by prior arrangement.

Butterwell, Cornwall 

Butterwell in Padstow, North Cornwall sleeps six and is located on a private estate with access to woodland walks, wildlife ponds and the River Camel. The local valley offers stunning countryside views and a private nature trail, perfect for exploring with the little ones. The beaches of Polzeath, Harlyn and Trevone are also nearby for a day on the coast, and fishing in the two private ponds is free for guests.

The property is within the south wing of the main house and offers views across the orchard, a woodburning stove, as well as a TV and DVDs for cosy nights in after a day of exploring.

Easter holidays

Gamblesby Old Barn, Cumbria

Gamblesby Old Barn is one of four properties located in Penrith, Cumbria. Sleeping four, the barn features a communal area for barbecues and open-plan sitting area. Shops are within walking distance and the Lake District is only a 20 minute drive away.

To keep the little ones entertained, South Lakes Animal Zoo is also within easy reach after days spent walking in the hills and trails of the Lake District.

Travel cot and highchair are available and dogs are also welcome.

Bishops Caundle Cottage, Dorset 

Bishops Caundle Cottage in Dorset is an 18th century thatched cottage surrounded by the rolling hills of Dorset and Somerset. To keep the little ones entertained over the Easter break, there are a host of attractions including the local countryside nearby. Longleat Safari Park, Sherborne House and Yeovilton Air Museum are all a short drive away.

The property sleeps four and comes complete with a woodburner, as well as a TV and DVD player for evenings together after a day of exploring. The owner is a ceramic artist, so there is also the chance to create your own pottery for a small fee.
