2/7 Canadian Museum of History
Spend some time at the Canadian Museum of History and you’re in very good company, this is the country’s most visited museum and it only takes a few seconds on-site to see why. More than 20,000 years of history are recorded here in enthralling detail across creatively designed exhibition spaces like the First Peoples Hall, the immense Canadian History Hall and the Grand Hall, which holds the world’s largest indoor collection of totem poles, no less. The museum building is pretty marvellous in its own right and, just for some added appeal, it also houses the Canadian Children’s Museum (more on that coming up).
