Some holidays slip into place so effortlessly you wonder why you ever worried. Liberty Fabay, on Türkiye’s Aegean coast near Fethiye, was one of them. It’s a resort that combines sleek design with a playful freedom, and it gave our family a sunny week that felt both indulgent and wonderfully easy.
From Dalaman Airport, the drive to Liberty Fabay takes just 45 minutes and we booked a private transfer, which was worth every penny.
First impressions count, and Liberty Fabay knows it. The reception is a showstopper and while great design doesn’t always lend itself to warmth, it feels welcoming too, so you know instantly you’re in good hands.

Large suites make all-inclusive Liberty Fabay perfect for families
One of the smartest things about all-inclusive Liberty Fabay is the range of family accommodation. You’ll find family suites with partitions for younger children, swim-up rooms where the pool is right outside your terrace, and larger suites for up to five.
But with older teens in tow, the best choice for us was two double rooms next to each other. That gave everyone space to stretch out, and cut down on the arguments over mirrors and showers.

Pools are at the heart of this fun Mediterranean beach resort
The pool scene here is the heart of the resort. The aqua park boasts six proper slides – the kind that older kids lap up on repeat – and the main activity pool is alive with music, swim-up bars and daytime entertainment. One afternoon we joined in the foam party with balloons and a live DJ, and it felt like a family festival with kids laughing, teens dancing, and parents sneaking in a shimmy too.

There’s also an adults-only pool, or if you’re more a toes-in-the-sand person, you can always opt for one of the resort’s lovely, and peaceful, beach cabanas.

All-inclusive Liberty Fabay ticks all boxes when it comes to food
Liberty Fabay’s dining options also tick all the boxes for families. The main buffet restaurant is vast yet cleverly arranged, with fresh Mediterranean salads, grilled meats, Turkish meze, and plenty of international favourites. Best of all, it’s brilliantly kid-friendly. I even saw little ones on their scooters between courses, letting off steam before returning for another plate. I know that sounds chaotic, but it wasn’t, it just felt like pure, child-like joy.
For variety, there are à la carte restaurants dotted around the resort too, serving everything from authentic Italian pasta under the stars to freshly grilled seafood by the beach. They all felt like a treat: calm, with beautifully set tables where teens feel grown-up and parents can breathe. If you’ve still got room, the 24-hour patisserie is the place for late-night éclairs, cakes and coffee.

Magical after-dark parties are all about families too
As the sun dips, Liberty Fabay transforms into something quite special. Entertainment is woven into the rhythm of each evening, with live music and family shows, but the standout is the Cappadocia party. Billed as ‘nights to remember under the brightest lights’, it’s all lanterns, beats and glowing colours against the night sky. Watching families dance under the stars with the sea as a backdrop was one of those moments you just want to bottle.
On another night, the resort hosted an outdoor games’ evening with inflatable football and basketball challenges. It was as much fun for parents as it was for kids, with laughter carrying across the lawns well into the evening.
The Libby & Berty Kids Club is a world in itself, designed with soft play zones, craft corners, a cinema snug and even an Xbox lounge, it’s the kind of place children want to spend time. The days are packed with games, cooking sessions and activities, while evenings bring mini discos and movie nights.

Service at Liberty Fabay goes beyond the polished surface. Waiters on roller skates are a quirky delight, gliding around with drinks, fruit and cold towels, it’s the kind of thing you don’t expect, but makes you grin every time.
Then there are caring touches, like the morning our missing sunglasses reappeared at our door, cleaned and ready to wear.
For all its modern polish, Liberty Fabay still connects you to its natural setting. Evening strolls along the beach revealed carefully marked turtle nests, a gentle reminder that this coastline is home to more than just sun-seekers. Watching the sun sink into the sea while knowing hatchlings would one day scramble across the same sand, was magical.

Liberty Fabay works because it manages to feel both like a treat for grown-ups, yet playful and practical enough to keep kids happy. Whether that’s older teens enjoying their own space or younger ones running wild in the kids’ club.
It’s in the pool foam, the Cappadocia lanterns, the rollerskating waiters, and even the midnight éclairs. It’s a resort that delivers what families need: space, service, style, and a little sparkle after dark.
We came home sun-kissed and chilled, every one of us filled with wonderful memories of cabanas, discos, midnight pastries and sunsets on the sand, and we’re already thinking about our next visit.
