This lovely family villa is located in a peaceful, countryside setting that provides the perfect location from which to enjoy the countryside of Mallorca. Only 10 minutes away by car, the old town of Pollensa and the port of Pollensa are easy to explore for a family day out, as is the pretty old town of Alcudia.

2/10  Villa Cornelia, Kefalonia

Set on the hillside which sweeps up above Trapezaki beach, Villa Cornelia was originally the summer hideaway of a local man who loved to fish. The simple ground floor house sat in a large mature garden and more than fulfilled this fisherman’s need for a peaceful retreat.

The large flat garden offers a wonderful play area for children or simply a pleasant area to lounge, has mainly given over to grass but with a gravelled area at the rear in which a raised fish pond reigns supreme. There is also a Wendy house and tunnels in the garden to keep the children occupied for hours.

The newly built pool is situated at the front of the house to fully benefit from the open sea views and is designed longer and narrower than usual to allow keen swimmers to start the day with their morning lengths. This property also features a state of the art pool shower and built in barbecue to complete the outdoor area.

Villa Cornelia is ideal for couples as well as families, though do note however that the minimum depth on the pool is 1.20m and there are no steps, only a ladder so care will need to be taken with very small children.
