Christmas at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife officially starts on 7 December with a glistening ceremony to mark the switching-on of the spectacular Christmas tree lights. Kicking off the most rocking Christmas in Tenerife to date, the start of the Christmas season will also be marked with dazzling entertainment and live performances from the island’s top artists.

2. Christmas Eve fun

In true Spanish style, Christmas Eve will be an unforgettable day for the whole family. Kids can enjoy their own special celebration at a ‘Hail to the band’ themed day event at Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club. Here youngsters will enjoy face painting, costumes and band rehearsals, a show with the Roxstars, and an after show party with carol singers. Families can also enjoy a special Christmas Eve gala dinner with spectacular Christmas buffet and carol singing.

3. Christmas Day celebrations

Wake up to a sunny Christmas Day on Tenerife. And blow your kids expectations out of the water when Father Christmas arrives in true Hard Rock style on a Harley Davidson loaded with gifts and treats.

4. Rock out at New Year

New Year’s Eve at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will be celebrated with an ‘Old Havana’ party gala dinner served in the lagoon area of the hotel.

The multi-course gourmet menu includes ‘wonders of the Cuban sea’, veal loin, and an innovative dessert of silver sphere, coconut mousse and Cuban rum, all enjoyed alongside world-class live performances, a live band and DJ sets.
Kids will love the Spanish tradition of eating a grape for every chime of the clock countdown to the New Year followed by a spectacular firework display. The party continues til dawn, and kids and teenagers will have their own entertainment with alcohol-free cocktails.

5. Resort fun

A Christmas and New Year at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife is filled with all the usual family fun including three swimming pools, a lagoon, Rock Spa, BEACH CLUB and great variety of cafes and restaurants.

6. Rockin’ kids clubs

Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife has various programmes for toddlers, children and teenagers, allowing parents to relax, especially at the busy time of year. Special themed activities at Christmas include elf costumes and Christmas face paint and Christmas karaoke on Boxing Day.

The Lullaby Baby Club for babies and toddlers between six months and three years is run by specially trained staff from 9am to 9pm. It also stays open until midnight once a week so that parents can enjoy the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife nightlife to the full!

Hard Rock Roxity Kids’ Club is a place where young rock stars from four to nine years old enjoy a wide-ranging programme of activities from 9am to 9pm (and again until midnight once a week) including treasure hunts, handicrafts, balloon creations and an obstacle course. There’s also the Rock Talent Show and nightly mini disco.

The Teen Spirit club for ages 10 to 16 offers a wide range of sports, games and competitions all based around the theme of rock. Open from 2pm to 10pm activities include ‘Become a Rockstar’ where kids use Guitar Hero to put on a show in a battle of talents, blackjack and roulette, ‘Rock DJ’ music mixing classes and competitions or ‘Virtual World’ Xbox competitions on giant screens and real simulators. Once a week, a special rock party allows kids to discover new music without their parents.

7. Family rooms and tunes

Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife has spacious suites and interconnecting rooms for families with 49” flat-screen HDTVs, iPod dock stations and video game consoles. The Sound of Your Stay programme allows young and old to create their own playlists, mix tracks at a professional desk or even a play a Fender guitar in their room.
