1/11  Parapenting

What we know as paragliding, this sport is a great experience and a must to see the Alps from a different point of view. The take-off will get the heart pumping, however as soon as you’re in the air the sensation turns into a very peaceful experience as you glide over the mountains and trees. For Peace of mind, you’ll be accompanied by an instructor who will make the flight as sedate or exciting as you like!

2/11  Canyoning

Follow the river downstream and travel through some spectacular areas of the French Alps with waterfalls, down chutes and plung pools. Canyoning involves making way through a canyon by either walking, scrambling, climbing, abseiling or even jumping towards a designated exit point.

Canyoning is an exciting activity for all abilities, ages and is available in many resorts in the Alps.

3/11  The Fantasticable

The Fantasticable is a zip wire ride like nothing else! Strapped into a harness in the superman position, fly between mountain tops at almost 100mph! The zip wire covers over 3 kilometres which is in 2 stages at the top of the Chaux Fleurie lift. Take in the views in this unique position, its sure to be an experience you’ll never forget.

4/11  Blobbing

The blob jump is a massive inflatable air bag.  The aim of the blob is to launch one person into the water, which is achieved when another person jumps onto the opposite end of the blob. Not for the faint heated, the blob can hurl a person 15-20 feet in the air! Experienced ‘blobbers’ can even try tricks and flips once airborne!

5/11  Paddleboarding

Try the fashionable sport of Paddleboarding this summer on various lakes in the French Alps. 7/11  Segway Experience

A Segway is two wheeled, self-balancing battery powered vehicle that is a slightly unorthodox mode of transport. This fun and slightly silly vehicle will sure create some laughs as you explore the French Alps in either Morzine or Annecy. Led by a professional guide and with off-road tyres discover nature on a Segway this summer. Run time is between 1 and 2 hours.

8/11  White Water Rafting

A classic on any activity list, white water rafting is an experience the whole family can enjoy together. As soon as the snow melts this opens up the famous rapids which offer a fun and exhilarating ride down small waterfalls and swirling currents. Before you hit the water the instructors will brief you on the equipment and safety and will guide you through the rapids from beginning to end.

10/11  The Luge

On Morzine’s hillside you can find the luge toboggan run. Take the Crusaz chairlift up the hill then travel down as fast as you dare on the car. With control through a hand break you really can go as fast as you want, but be warned the luge can get extremely competitive! Sledge down 150 metres to the bottom either by yourself or parent can ride with young children. There are two trails of different lengths and difficulty levels, this is an activity that suits all ages!
